With more than 30 years of experience in finance, technology and investment, Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association and Chairman of 1Matrix, is one of the pioneering figures driving the development of the blockchain and digital assets ecosystem in Vietnam.

In his leadership role at VBA, he has actively taken part in research activities, policy consultation and dialogues related to the process of completing the legal framework for digital assets, including key documents such as the Law on Digital Technology Industry and Resolution No. 05/NQ-CP on the pilot implementation of the digital assets market in Vietnam.

He also plays a core role in promoting blockchain and AI literacy, and in building well-structured, professional training programmes through the ABAII Academy of Blockchain and AI Innovation, along with many other community activities.

He has held many senior leadership positions at leading organisations in Vietnam, including TPBank, GPBank, Techcombank and FPT.

At Vietnam RWA Summit 2026, Mr. Phan Duc Trung will share his perspectives on the trend of real-world assets tokenisation, the shifting landscape of the global digital assets market, and the opportunities and actions needed for Vietnam to participate more deeply in this wave of transformation.
