



Welcoming Dr. Can Van Luc to Vietnam RWA Summit 2026
With more than 30 years of experience in banking, finance, and macroeconomic research, Dr. Can Van Luc is one of Vietnam’s leading economists. He currently serves as Chief Economist and Director of the BIDV Training and Research Institute, while also holding positions on the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council and the Vietnam National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (VNCPEC).
Throughout his career, Dr. Luc has been actively involved in economic research, policy advisory, financial market development, banking sector reform, digital transformation, and innovation. His international experience includes serving as a Humphrey Fulbright Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School, as well as working with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the U.S. Federal Reserve System.
At Vietnam RWA Summit 2026, Dr. Can Van Luc will share his perspectives on the growth potential of digital assets, their implications for Vietnam’s economy, and the policy, regulatory, and risk management considerations needed to support sustainable market development.
