Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Van Thanh is one of Vietnam’s leading experts in finance, accounting, and auditing, with more than 40 years of experience in public finance, policymaking, and institutional reform.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has held numerous senior positions, including Director General of the State Treasury, Director General of the Accounting Regime Department, Director General of the Financial Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Economic and Budget Affairs, and Senior Advisor to the National Assembly. He also served as President of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors for three consecutive terms, playing a key role in modernizing Vietnam’s accounting and auditing systems and aligning them with international standards.

At Vietnam RWA Summit 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Van Thanh will share his perspectives on the role of accounting standards, financial governance, and transparency in building a trusted, sustainable digital asset market.
