Welcoming Assoc. Prof. Dr. David Tran to Vietnam RWA Summit 2026

Assoc. Prof. Dr. David Tran is Associate Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Connected Computing Lab at the University of Massachusetts Boston. His research focuses on distributed computing, blockchain technology, and digital finance, with numerous publications recognized at leading international conferences, including IEEE MASS, ICCCN, and DaWaK. He has also received research grants from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).

Beyond academia, Mr. David Tran serves as Director of the Blockchain Program at the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), Scientific Director of the Center for Digital Technology and Economy at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and General Partner at IDG Capital Blockchain, bringing perspectives from research, investment, and real-world blockchain adoption.

At Vietnam RWA Summit 2026, Mr. David Tran will share insights into the convergence of blockchain and traditional finance, emerging trends in digital assets, and the key factors driving real-world blockchain adoption and tokenization.
